Şentürk "Ancak aile bireylerimden küçük kardeşim Bayram Şentürk ne yazık ki uyuşturucu bağımlısıdır. Kendisini tedavi için Balıklı Rum Hastanesi'ne götürüp getiriyorum" dedi.

Ünlü şarkıcı, Adli Tıp'ın 17 Haziran 2009 tarihli raporuna göre, kanında ve idrarında uyuşturucu bulunmadığı, ancak saçında kokain saptandığının hatırlatılması üzerine ise "Kendi çapımda yaptırdığım araştırmada, kontaminasyon tabir edilen yolla yahut uyuşturucu tedavisi yaptırdığım kardeşimle bazı şeyleri paylaşmamdan bulaşma ihtimali bulunduğu bildirildi" dedi.
